A rather edgy close-up of some cactus thorns. I'm quite happy with the sense of depth the thorns in the background creates. However, the shot is a bit busy.

To make your five stay at the top of your blog, first publish your post with the current date and time. This will make it appear on your blog. Then, edit the post to change the date in "Post Options" to a future date ... say July 6 ... and publish it again. I'll try to post mine soon, to use as a model.
I'm taking up the 366 challenge, to take 366 photos during 2008 according to the themes listed below. I was challenged to take up this project by mia, but the challenge in this form was started by dogeared. That's wonderful! I love that you can even see the shadows of some of the spikes on the ones at the left. Great focus.
